THE HISTORY OF WDCAF

WDCAF was incorporated as the Washington, D.C. Alumnae Foundation, Delta Sigma Theta, Inc., a 501 (c) 3 tax exempt public charity on August 15, 1985 by the Washington DC Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. to support charitable, cultural, religious, educational, economical, technical and scientific development programs in the community.

Since WDCAF’s inception over $400,000 has been raised to fund Washington, D.C. based community service programs for residents of the District of Columbia through our: Community Grants, Charitable Donations and Scholarships.
